Do You Have An Internet Business Plan? Part 1 of 9
Every year you and millions of others might be thinking about New Years Resolutions.
What will be different in 2009?
What changes can we make to improve our personal and/or business lives?
What should we focus on in 2009?
This year Jan 1, 2009 I was pondering over these very questions just as you might have been. I personally don’t buy into New Years Resolutions as they are set for the wrong reasons in my opinion. New Years Resolutions rarely have any higher than a 1% success rate.
For a 99% success rate, you need to build on your previous years results and experiences.
You may be thinking:
- What results?
- What success did you have last year?
- What was the results of those success’s?
- How do I figure out the results?
You need to focus on your success from the previous years and analyze each event so you can understand how those success’s came to be. Once you understand, build on those events and attach some improvement goals to achieve in 2009 and beyond.
What about personal goals?
Do you understand the importance of how personal goals affect your business?
The content in this post is geared towards ways to improve your internet experience. It is imperative for you to understand how your personal goals relate to business planning. Your personal goals affect your online business in more ways than can be imagined and until you experience these events yourself it is unbelievable the value that can be injected into your Online business when you really pay attention to this factor.
Caution: Don’t ever discount the importance of your personal goals especially if you are self-employed.
Another important aspect of creating an Internet Business Plan is reviewing your business pitfalls. You should take each event and strongly analyze into the intimate parts, in an effort to gain insight, to the point you have a crystal clear picture of the cause and effect.
Some causes of failed plans are as follows:
- Failed to plan properly
- neglected to setup regular reviews
- As an entrepreneur you have free reign – no one to report to in a sense. Some business owners need to have someone to keep them focused and on task.
- Insufficient Financial Resources – this is huge
- Personal challenges interfere with business
- Unrealistic planning right from the start
As an entrepreneur, you make the necessary business plans to avoid financial challenges.
Does this guarantee your success? If no, why not?
Of course sometimes all the planning in the world is not able to help you avoid economic pitfalls as there are unexpected events, beyond the scope of this material, which are not within your control. That is why an online or offline business includes an element of risk – some more than others.
Offline or online business, there will always be risks involved BUT with the proper planning as well as regular reviews of your Internet Business Plan you substantially increase your success rate by leaps and bounds.
