First things first – Forget Everything You Ever Learned In School about Writing.

Ok now that we got that out of the way here we go – what you learned in school doesn’t apply to article writing on the Internet. You need to keep in mind what your purpose of writing an Article is here on the Internet.

The purpose when you write an article here is to get a response and to do that you may need to use unconventional methods of writing to grab the attention of your audience.

What are the normal options your readers have?

  2. Visit an affiliate link – a large number of publishers won’t let you put an affiliate link in your article, unless of course it is in context. You can put the link in the resource box, which would be allowed regardless.
  3. Subscribe to a mailing list – this is a great option as when people sign up they are giving you permission to contact them by email on a regular basis.
  4. Subscribe to a complimentary course you are offering.
  5. Refer the article you wrote to other people or other sources.
  6. Do Nothing
  7. Send nasty emails to you or post derogatory messages on your blog – as long as you are doing business on the Internet you are in the public eye. On the Internet it is so easy to remain anonymous so it makes you a target for this type of behavior.
  8. They could contact you personally to inquire on your products or services further.
