When talking about traditional yellow pages, there sure is a decline in number of people opting for advertising in it. Since 2001 Americans have been able to peek at their Google behavior patterns, showing what their top searches have been.

On Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Google released the most-popular Canuck search queries for the first 11 months of 2008. Canadians have always shared a passion for hockey, beavers and maple syrup but now Canadians have been united in their interests of Face book.com, Politics, Britney Spears and Google can prove it.

This is the first time Canadians have had a peak at their Google behavior, as well, Google released similar results for 35 other countries.

This is a good lesson on keyword and keyword phrases and a great addition in our 7 part series. Google will always show you the hot trends, help you to brainstorm on what is the most searched for terms and they have an arsenal of information on what the competition is doing in the niche you speak of.
