Did You Write An Article? – Part 3 of 4
Writing an article on a budget is very important, as most of you may not always have a great amount of financial resources. I am certainly not implying you have no money, what I mean is most people want their online business to pay for itself, their personal resources are limited for investing in products or online tools.
Ok enough of that, to write an article so you can get more traffic to your website, especially on a budget, here is what I would suggest for you to do:
- First off be careful you don’t get involved with high price article directories or syndicators from the start – do your homework. When starting out there are directories that have f.r.e.e basic memberships however after so many published articles you will need to upgrade or pay on a credit basis.
- Have a link going to your blog from your article, an article from your blog to a relevant Squidoo lens and a link from Squidoo Lens back to Article. This is a 3-Way linking system that has proven to be very effective for others.
- Distribute you message about your article through Podcasting or MP3‘s
- Put a video up in YouTube with a brief introduction to your subject and advertise your link to the article there. You need to be sure the video remains tasteful – be professional – it will pay dividends down the road.
- Consider Joint Venturing – if it is, a product you have created, do your homework, who is your audience and who would benefit from your product. What about successful Internet Marketers – make a win win proposal.
- There is a ton of information on the internet about Search Engine Ranking – tips and tricks that still work. They may not work with the same effectiveness as when they were first discovered so remember you get what you pay for.
- Once you start making an income online hire a coach, if you don’t have one in mind, check out The IM University. Here you will find up to date techniques that get you great results.
Now about writing the article, you need to remember people don’t like reading anything that isn’t making sense, too small of font, flashy colors, or even big fancy words. Keep it simple, yet interesting and informative. People browse the Internet for no-cost information, they don’t intend to buy so you have to give them a reason to trust your information and motivate them to buy from you.
If buying is not the action you are hoping for, make sure you target your purpose as well as your audience. Take some action today, write an article today – don’t delay! Do you like that ending.
